Mid States Auto Sales is listing in a NO RESERVE AUCTION this 1979 CHEVY 1/2 TON 4X4 with a HIGH PERFORMANCE 454 BIG BLOCK . This truck has had over $ 15000.00 spent on the build. The previous owner put 1981 front sheet metal and a steel cowl hood. He built it from the ground up .What we do know is it has around 1500 miles on the build. We think it has about 4:56 gears because of the R.P.M. 'S at 55 mph. It has a turbo 400 transmission with a stall converter and a HEALTHY BIG BLOCK with a big cam. The exhaust has FLO-MASTERS AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME ! The body is straight with minor dings and some paint peel in some spots. Has some rust underneath ( see pictures ). The interior is complete with normal wear and tare. The drive train was all rebuilt along with all of the front end components-brakes-springs ...ect.
