1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS 454

For Sale is a very rusty 1971 Monte Carlo SS 454. It runs and drives, but should be considered as a donor car for restoration of another vehicle. I believe it to be the original 454- 400 Turbo Hydramatic- 12 Bolt Rear axle drivetrain. Options include bucket seats, tilt column w/ floor shift, power windows, air conditioning, am/fm radio. I have not sought out the build sheets above the gas tank or in the seat backs or under the dash. If it lends any confidence, I did remove the upper rear panel hockey sticks and the upper below trunk aluminum strip. I also removed the Monte Carlo SS emblems that are mounted on the rear panel. The Auto-load leveling system was gone when I purchased the car, but the rear air shocks and protective plates are still there. While this car has poor sheet metal, this auction also includes a titled rolling body shell with very clean fenders, doors, trunk lid, hood, rocker panels, rear quarters and roof panel. The floor pans and trunk pan should not need replacing. The frame does display some corrosion but is solid. Both titled cars are to be sold together. I encourage you to come and view this project in person to avoid any misunderstanding. The grille is missing, but the overall project includes most parts.
