1984 Chevrolet Silverado Short Bed with Custom Features
1984 Chevrolet C-10 Custom
This is a 1984 Silverado, regular cab, short bed pickup truck that was redone 13 years ago. I knew the original owner and when he passed away, I bought the truck in 2004. The vehicle was originally brown and tan and had 84,000 miles. The odometer was reset when the restoration/modifications were done so that I and any future buyer would know how many miles were on the restoration. All machine work on the engine was done by a local machine shop. Engine overhaul included: block bored .40, new pistons, crank turned .10 on the rods and .10 on the mains, new camshaft, new lifters, new timing set, valve job, new water pump, new oil pump, and the engine runs perfectly. Transmission was overhauled by local transmission mechanic. New radiator, new evaporator, new A/C compressor and manifold, and air blows cold. I won't say ice cold as I am very picky about AC, but my wife would say it is ice cold. New pressure power steering hose. Engine compartment electric fuel pump. All new cooling hoses. Brakes redone to include: new front calipers, pads, rotors, brake hoses, rear shoes, drums turned, all new hardware and cylinders. New master cylinder and power booster. New front coil springs and shocks. New rear shocks. New single exhaust system from manifold to tailpipe. New front fenders, new rear step bumper, new tailgate. No rust on this truck. Only body repair was a dent in driver's door. Paint is Bimini Red two stage and color change was professionally done to include complete interior painting. New windshield. All new body gaskets and rubber pieces. New 20 inch Boss "302" rims and tires (2248 miles on tires). New hood emblem, chrome tubular grille, front bumper is original with bumper guards. Sliding rear window. Billet dash trim. Seat two-toned, new carpet and headliner. Tilt steering wheel, power windows, power door locks. Various other trim pieces replaced. Bed top has diamond plate protectorsas I have used this truck and did not want to scratch top. The bed is painted under the protectors and protectorscan be easily removed as they are two-sided foam taped on. This truck is in outstanding condition and will be going another 150K miles, maybe more. I believe in practical restorations so the vehicle can be used. I am serious about selling this fine truck so please be serious in your bidding. The Reserve is $12,000. Everyone says this, but you could not find a rust free truck and do what was done to this truck for this price.Vehicle is being sold "As is" with no express or implied warranty. Inspections prior to bidding are welcomed and encouraged. Buyer responsible for all shipping. This vehicle could be driven home.
