1972 Corvette Convertible and 1970 Corvette Project
1972 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
I purchased a numbers matching sbc350 1972 Corvette convertible with a Maco shark front clip that had been sitting since 1986. I picked it up and took car home. I was able to get the car to start but not completely run without changing fuel tank. I proceeded to take the car apart in order to restore. I took the body off the frame and took off all components. I found some rust on the frame and repaired by welding in new steel. I ended up finding a parts car which was a 1970 corvette with a 69 motor and 69 frame with four speed. It also has a small block 350. The parts car was a lot nicer then I expected. It went through a restoration from the previous owner and then was hit in front end. That is why it is on a 69 frame now. I pulled the motor, changed the fly wheel and clutch, installed a set up dart aluminum heads with roller rockers, installed a demon carb. Motor and trans run great. The way the car sits now is near mint condition minus a front clip. I am selling both cars with all parts shown in pictures as a project. I have titles for both vehichles. The Vin number on the 1972 Convertible is 1Z67K2S515114. The Vin number on 1970 car is 194370S400336. Buyer to arrange for pickup or shipping of all items.
