1965 Chevrolet El Camino Base Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door

Hello Folks!
Here is a great project with tons of extras that come with the car.
I bought this 65 El Camino for parts at first. After taking a closer look at everything...its much easier to build the El Camino.
The body parts on my wrecked wagon are just too rare, and the El Camino is far more desirable anyways. Now I've got way too many projects to handle, and this is taking lots of my shop time and shop space.
SO...after stripping my wagon....you have all the parts needs for a GREAT El Camino.
(In a nutshell....my daily driver 65 wagon was hit by a drunk driver on the passenger side. It put some kinks in the frame and the body. Then the Highway Patrol rammed it to move it to the side of the road....into a guard rail. )
PLEASE SEE THIS YOUTUBE VIDEO FOR A FULL DESCRIPTION! (you'll need to cut and paste this in your browser)

14" 5 spoke supreme rims and tires (tires are just rollers, not road safe)fully upholstered seat (great condition)
Trans: Turbo 350 with shift kit, adjustable vacuum modulator, higher stall converter.(Case is cracked. All insides are good, so an empty case is needed. Can find all over the place!)No water inside.
Engine:30 over, 283c.i., so a 301~, 8.5:1 compression (can run regular)Heads: 2000 Vortec! From GM Performance, maybe 10,000 miles on them tops.Modded for the rare triple year Corvette valve covers.Edelbrock Performer Vortec Intake (polished)Oil is good, under the valve covers is beautiful. I will run a compression test on it and post results soon.
Right now, I'm not selling it as running. It needs a distributor, carburetor, and exhaust manifold / headers.
Water pump / alternator / starter will be new ( I have lifetime warranty on them)Has platinum plugs.
Good heater core and modified dashboard insert, with Vintage Arrow Tach, and DIN size radio bezel.Interior and engine wiring harness and fuse block. The wiring harness is not stock. It is heavily modified. You'll probably have to modify it (or just use the factory one on the El Camino.)
Included is every nut, bolt and bracket that came off of my wagon.
Please see the video!(you'll need to cut and paste this in your browser)
Other parts I have available for this car (but not included in this auction) is a 12 bolt rear end (pretty rusty)The complete front and rear doors from my wagon. These have all the mechanisms glass, felt, door rubbers, and handles. Please see my other auctions for these.
Here is what will happen, if there are no bids on this auction, I will slowly start putting the car together myself, and relisting at a higher price!
So My recommendation is: if you are interested now, better just get it now, while its cheap!
Happy Bidding!
