This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 4 door V8 is in original condition. It is well maintained, has been garaged and is in a completely drivable and working order. From the pictures you can tell the paint and body is in great shape, showing minimal signs of wear withminor blemishes andlittle scratches on right side front passenger door. The coral and dark gray colorsare a very pleasing combination. Chrome is all complete and in great shape. The fender wells are in very good condition with no rust. Original under coating covers normally applied areas. Underside of car is in good working order. This 55 is amazingly rust free with only normal surface weathering that one would expect. This second owner original classic has 66,933 miles on a 265 V8 automatic;runs and operates very good; brakes are good and tires are new. Car is driven occasionally and the drivability and performance is very impressive. Engine compartment shows some signs of age and is still in great condition for a unrestored original survivor.Interior and dash are in great shape; all components are complete and in working order showing only minimal signs of wear. Weather stripping is original showing signs of age and cracking but still sealing. The windows all work very well with ease and no cracks. The doors open and shut very solidly and quietly with nice straight body lines. Seats and trim complete - showing signs of wear, and are still in good useable condition and comfortable.
