1984 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z28 Coupe 2-Door

Want to build a muscle car to keep, this is it. I stumbled across it just by chance and am not really sure I want to sell it, so the price will have to be right. This,(according to my research is one of 3,200 built in 1984). It was the last of the chevy muscle cars that was slated to build several thousand but was cut off at 3,200 with special package. It was built solely to out run the 5.0 mustangs, which it did! I will include the build sheet so you can research the rarity of this car yourself and offer a reasonable bid. It has the G92 package with the t5 borg warner 5 speed transmission. Also comes with a 10 bolt 3.73 rear gear posi track and 4 wheel discs as well as 16'' matching mag wheels. The engine is theHO 305 L69 with 4 bbl carb. The engine and transmission work well and the rear is definitely a posi track. This car came with the raised fiberglass hood when I bought it and I am not sure if it is aftermarket or original to the car asthere is a fiberglass hood that came on some of these cars (smc la-5 hood). I will not reveal the reserve but if you and your son are looking to build a car together this in my opinion would be the one. The car seems to drive strait but will need some new upholstery, door panels and of course a paint job.. The pictures will show the condition of the body and interior and there are a few other parts that will be needed in the engine bay to make it a perfect rebuild, these parts are, an air conditioning compressor, and the dual snorkel breather which originally came with the car. On the build sheet it is listed as a special order car and in some of my reading there were 2,200 of a special order of this car offered. I don't know if this is one of them or not.The radio is an aftermarket and I have seen very little if any rust in the obvious areas. This car has the paperwork for a bonded title as it was either abandoned or picked up by a wrecker service and that's how I came across it. Please look at the pictures carefully and bid only what you can pay. There are a lot of hot rods out there but this is one of those golden eggs that you rarely come across with these options andat a reasonable price. This is the real deal, don't pass it up if you want that one of a kind with the numbers to back it up. Good luck and ask any questions you have and I will try to answer them. The G92 package referred to in the above description only refers to the rear end gear ratio. Some believed that it refered to a set of HP options on some cars but that has yet to be established. This vehicle comes with the GT4 e73 posi track and many other high performance options.This is a short list of RPO options that can be found on the build sheet included in the picture section of this auction. make sure through research this is the car you want!!!
