Description:

1952 Chevrolet Other Pickups Factory

This is an all original, 1952 Chevy 1 Ton restored to factory original condition. It was up fitted to 4x4 in 1952 for Southern California Edison. It was a Line Truck for the utility company and spent most of its life off road. It was factory ordered with the 1.5 ton axles and 20" ten bolt wheels. It has the factory nine foot bed. Nothing on this truck has been cut or modified, the 4x4 upfit is an engineered bolt on. I am thinking it's an early Coleman, definitely not a Marmon Herrington or Napco. Back in 1952, the 4x4 upfits were almost non existing for Chevrolet. Napco came into the market around 1954 and Marmon Herrington had the Ford market. This truck was restored back to all original condition in 2014. The frame has never been cut or modified, it is all factory sheet metal except for the tailgate and rear fenders that needed replacement. Of course, it has all new bed wood also. The 216 motor has been professionally rebuild. This truck drives like it is off the factory floor. I have pictures and receipts from the entire restoration. The truck's original color was Mustard Yellow. I went with the factory Red for the restoration. The truck is located in Lake Havasu City AZ and the buyer is responsible for transportation. Please feel free to contact me for more information and questions before you bid. This is a one of a kind, super rare all original 1 ton Chevy with the 9 foot bed. It also comes with two extra 20" wheels incase you would like to widen the rear fenders or install a flatbed.
