Complete 1976 Blazer Chalet #25 built in April 1976. This “Chalet” is totally complete right down to the original owner’s manuals and other unique parts. Current mileage shown on the Chalet is 77,000 which was represented to me to be original however given the age of this Chalet I am selling it as “Mileage Exempt” for reporting purposes.

Blazer Chalet’s where built by Chinook Industries in Washington and sold exclusively through Chevrolet and GMC dealers. The Chalet shell is in excellent condition with no damage and virtually totally complete. The exterior shell still has the original finish along with the original stripes. The rear door is excellent and I have the original keys. All of the side access doors are in nice condition along with the original front windows. The “Pop Top” mechanism works flawlessly and the canvas although dirty is in good condition along with the windows and bug screens.

The interior of this Chalet is totally complete and in good condition. All the appliances are complete including the original cooktop, Dometic refrigerator, gas heater, center table and more. The original seats are nice with no rips or tears. This Chalet has the optional upper bunk beds that are complete. Both closets and doors are in nice condition.

This is a nice Blazer Chalet shell with bolt right on to your later model nice Blazer and make a great trail rig. I have all the original owner’s manuals and appliance manuals as shown in the pictures for this Blazer Chalet!

The Blazer under this Chalet is very original down to the original paint and is RUSTY as shown in the pictures. Most everything on the Blazer itself is original and complete.

This Blazer still has the original 350 Engine, Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission, Full Time 4WD, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Factory A/C, Tilt Steering, Cruise Control, Factory Gauges and more.

This Blazer was running last summer and would pull itself last summer. I tried to start again a couple days ago when it was COLD as Hell outside and it would not start. Having said this expect to tow/haul this Blazer Chalet home.

Mechanically the Blazer is complete right down to 5 original wheels with matching NICE Michelin Tires on the truck and what appears to be the original Firestone 721 whitewall radial tire on the spare tire mounted in the original spare tire holder on the front bumper. The original jack and tools are with the Blazer.

The interior of the blazer is complete. The original front seats are in good condition. The original carpet is fair at best. The door panels are good along with the sunvisor’s. The dash pad is complete with a couple of cracks. The tilt steering column is nice and tight. I have the original GM keys for this Blazer. Lot’s of things still work on the truck like the windshield wipers, blower motor, radio, lights and turn signals when you put a battery in the Blazer. There is no battery included.

I have included 140 detailed pictures for your review. As such you should have a pretty good idea of what you are bidding upon and purchasing.

Overall an ambitious restoration project or a GREAT Chalet Shell to install on another truck and then re-sell the Blazer to local “Mud Runner Off Roader” for an easy $1000 or more!
