1988 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 V30

1988 Chevy V30. 1 ton dually. 4 wheel drive. 454 4 speed Silverado with manual locks and windows. Odometer reads 52163 not sure but I would guess it really is 152163 and counting. I believe this has the Dana 60 frontand rear axles. This truck runs and drives good. 4 wheel drive works good. But it does need some work. The check engine light will come on once it gets up to temperature but not always?? It does surge mainly when you take off. It does need a new fan relay (sometimes it needs tapped on to work). I've replaced two distributor modules within 3 or 4 months. It needs one U-Joint replaced in the front drive shaft. Rear springs have a couple of broken leafs. Dash pad is cracked. Has newer exhaust but needs a manifold donut and stud replaced has duals. Just giving you an idea of the main problem areas. Cab is pretty good shape with some rust through on both rockers and cab corners. Great floor pans. Air conditioning works good. Converted to 134. Delay wipers work as well as the washers. Good cloth headliner. Seat is starting to rip on the drivers side. Truckdrives straight down the road. Tires are decent. Both front fenders have rust through. Truck has been repainted but needs another once over. I was planning on getting rid of the throttle body and computer and changing the intake to a carb andHEI distributor. Truck doesn't use any oil or anti-freeze. The truck has great potential and these are getting hard toget ahold of. If you are coming a long ways I might recommend bringing a trailer or at least a new distributor module. It does run and drive. Sounds good etc...but does need looked at to be trouble free again.
