restored 1972 2wd chevrolet C-10 C10 400 SBC 700R4 factory PS & A/C DART heads
1972 Chevrolet C-10
I am willing to sell to an international buyer but funds and paperwork will need to be clear and finalized on my end before I release the truck to a transport company. Title is clear and in hand in a safe.
Looking for a truck you can hop in turn the key and go highway cruising or go out to dinner in? this is that truck. Take it for a cruise around town and get thumbs up from people in traffic and gearheads that appreciate what’s been done to the truck. This truck in the Florida heat runs 160-170 all day long and in the hottest summer weather in Florida in standstill traffic it maxes out at 180 the cooling system was overbuilt on this truck for reliability reasons.
For the quick read this is an older restored 1972 Chevy c10 long bed 2wd with aftermarket performance motor and transmission truck is currently insured with Geico classic vehicle dept. for $21k. It is a Factory power steering truck and factory AC as verified by matching glove-box RPO codes but firewall has been shaved so no A/C or heat installed at current moment my plans were for a Vintage Air Gen 4 but shoulder surgery/medical costs is forcing sale of my truck. Further in this auction you will also see I have purchased the major parts for a rear disc brake conversion but again due to shoulder/medical reasons I haven't been able to install them.
Research via VIN and RPO codes it was manufactured at the Atlanta plant so it has lived its life in the south it was originally a 350ci motor and transmission. The factory exterior was a green color with matching green plaid interior. Current color is a satin black as that what the previous owners painted it. The rockers and cab corners have been repaired and replaced and top of cab has been inspected and is solid and rust free. Floor pans and kick panel area are solid and rust free and look to be epoxy coated on the inside. The person who restored this truck took the time and epoxy sealed the floor of the bed of the truck for protection from the elements and this truck has been parked in a covered house garage from the person I purchased it from and while also in my possession.

If you want me to nitpick the truck as it took me 6 months of vehicle shopping to choose this truck I would say it needs an updated wiring harness as it is still the factory glass fuse style fuse block the horn wiring is there but there is no horn as the previous owner had a 3 trumpet air horn setup that seemed cheesy and the horn button would occasionally stick. There is a scratch on one small part of the hood where it looks like a small cat or dog was and there are of course scratches on the rear tailgate as this truck isn’t a Barrett Jackson truck.
