1966 Chevrolet C20 long bed step side.
Original and amazing driver!
327 V8 with 4 speed trans on the floor. Granny gear so low it will tow a boat up a tree. Runs like factory new. Starts every time, idles perfectly, shifts well, doesn't smoke, doesn't overheat. It does leak a few drops from the rear main, but not enough for it to bother me, by no means is it a leaky truck.
Factory air conditioning! Very rare option and recently serviced. Blows nice and cold, used it all summer as my daily driver, in Arizona!!
Interior is in great condition with very little wear. Original upholstery in good condition and spent most of its life under a cover.
Factory radio delete, which was very common in the C20's. Has Bluetooth stereo mounted under seat, sounds great and doesn't affect the original look. Can remove it for you if you prefer 100% original.
Body is in very good shape with no serious rust, few very small areas treated with Por15 and whole body cut down and semi-gloss clear coated a few months ago. Wet sanded for days. The paint has a beautiful original patina.
Comes with original camper special bumper, frame mounted trailer hitch and a new pressed bumper (currently mounted). The new bumper was painted to match the original color and patina, looks great.
Bed has old wood that is covered by a large piece of industrial plastic, very functional.
New brakes 500 miles ago. Good newer truck tires. All new window and door rubber and seals, new window scrapers(felt).
This was my daily driver all summer and I hate to let it go, but I have a few other projects that need finishing.
