1958 Chevy Apache 3100 heavy 1/2 ton. California Telephone Service truck. Powers service body. 350 vortex v8 4 barrel carb. There has been a slight tick in the motor for years that goes away after warm up. HEI distributor. 700R4 auto transmission, with fresh rebuild. Original 410 rearend. Newer upholstery. Power brakes, front disc. Newer tires 90% tread. Upgrade instrument panel. (Original available) am/fm cassette.Original steel wheels will go along with the truck, nothing has been done to the original design of this truck that can't be easily reversed. There has been no cutting or welding. Transmission and motor cross members are bolt in and can be changed easily. This truck is a true survivor with no wrecks that are apparent.Rust in typical areas. Small dent in passenger front quarter panel. ( someone backed into it).
Rare find. Haven't seen another like it. Has brass fleet plate with unit number attached.
