1960 Pontiac Laurentian Safari Wagon. Very rare car built for the Canadian market on a Chevrolet Impala frame with similar styling to the US Pontiac Bonneville's and Catalina's. This full size Pontiac wagon is in all original un-restored condition. There is a dent in the tailgate and a missing tail light. There is rust in all of the typical 59/60 Chevy areas. Portions of the floor will need replacing, the rockers and the lower sections of the quarter panels.It is very typical ofmost un-restored GM X Frame cars these day. Repair panels are readily available as they are the same as a 1960 Impala wagon. The frame and drivetrain is the same as a US specification 1960 Chevrolet Impala.The body-styling is very similar to a US Bonneville or Catalina.The interior is all original and complete. It is in pretty decent shape considering its age. The original Chevrolet 6 cylinder motor hasn't ran for a few years. It is an automatic transmission car and the condition of the transmission is unknown. All four tires hold air and it rolls very easily and steers so is easy to move around or load onto a trailer.All parts required to restore this very rare Pontiac wagon can easily be sourced as they are shared with other more common US specification GM cars, it would make an easy restoration project. You would never see another one.
