Description:
1977 Chevrolet El Camino Classic Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door
Guys this is a GMC Sprint, NOT an El camino. It is a 1977 model. If you are a numbers matching, everything needs to be original kind of guy then this is not the car for you. If you want a great running, shifting, project car you can finish the way you want it than check this out. This car has some surface rust which here in WV we refer to as Patina. Really not much rust through anywhere. There was a place we did a quick repair behind the right rear tire. The fenders, quarters, doors all are pretty solid, not perfect but good condition for a 1977 model. There is some minor rust through in the bed, nothin, major, think theres a picture of it. The paint is dull but I personally think it looks cool. Some call it a rat rod but I feel it gives it personality. Its a car you can drive without worrying about scratching it or dings.I think the car was originally black. I have owned this car for about 3 years and have been working on it as time allows but there seems like I have less and less time to devote to it. I have done quite a lot of work on it and invested lots of money. All this car needs to put on the road for a everyday driver is a windshield and the old carburetor isn't to good. The car has a great sounding 350 engine from a 73 El camino. The engine has the popular double hump heads on it. It starts great and runs cool, trans shifts fine. It has a set of headers on it and new exhaust. If you buy this car your neighbors will no longer be your friends as the exhaust on this car will rattle there windows. It is pretty loud, no leaks as its all new. It sounds wicked. The car has new floor pans welded in, actual pans not just patched. The interior has new carpet, a new seat cover, and the door panels are driver quality. It has a cd player with all the extra built in it. Some of the gauges work, some don't. I was planning on putting a new set under the dash, quickest way to cure that problem. Not sure about the speedo so im selling it true miles unknown, with its age and all that's been done who knows what the correct mileage is, who cares really. The car has new front disc brake calipers and new pads. I think new rubber brake lines also but I cant remember for sure. There is new brakes and wheel cylinders on the rear. Brakes work great. All the lights work also. The windshield is just laying in the car, actually held in place with tape to keep it from leaking to the inside. If youd like I can get you a windshield put in this car for an additional fee of $225.00. That's a new one, not used. I have the molding that goes around it. The bumpers are pretty straight but the chrome isn't to good. This cqr has 4 new tires on it and pretty nice aluminum wheels. I think they look great on the car. As I said earlier Ive put a lot of money in this car, just add up all the new parts ive mention and you will see. The dash pad is rough but it has a fairly decent cover on it, not great but it looks better than the pad itself. Guys that's about all I knoe to tell you. You can email your questions and I will answer them honestly. Please ask questions, don't assume anything. The car has a clean and clear WV title ready to go. Its a running, shifting, driving car that just needs a little TLC. All it really needs to hit the road is the windshield and a desent carburetor. I have run it on the road a little but its not licensed or insured so haven't driven it a lot. Check out my feedback guys as its getting very close to 800 and its all positive. You don't get great feedback like that if you lie and cheat people, I tell it like it is. Thanks for reading my novel and good luck should you decide to bid on this great running car. The buy it now price on this is a super good deal with all that's been done to it already. I need a $500 dollar deposit at auctions end and the balance within 3 days. The car can sit here for awhile as long as its paid for in full as auction describes. Thanks. Also remember this is a GMC Sprint, NOT an El camino.Vehicle Details:
