Description:

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 BelAir

1955 Chevy Convertible. This was built to be a 1000 point show car setting on an Art Morrison chassis when along came the opportunity to purchase "Bella," the original paint car setting beside this (LS2, Air Ride, 6 piston brakes.)
Why am I selling it? Well...I went through a divorce and am now a single dad w 4 small children and I'm going for primary custody. I do not have to time to complete a project like this in the foreseeable future. This car was never built to sell.
This car is pretty much all new and a majority of the hard to find convertible parts with it. I was planning to paint it black with red interior so having a laser straight body was key. I would say it's within a day or two of being painted. The firewall has been smoothed and the lower fender extensions welded onto the fender for a very clean look. It was built for an LS3 motor. Brand new quarters and full floor underneath. We removed the spare tire well so a large stainless fuel tank underneath could be installed. Clear title and trim tag but the trim tag has seen better days so I planned to get black/red repo trim tag. I also sold the Art Morrison chassis and the car now resides on an original convertible "X" frame. It currently has a 265 motor and 3 speed which ran fine a few years ago. Dash is removable so you can setup the firewall and dash easier during assembly. The rear wheel wells have not been tubbed.
Parts that come with it. I'll try to highlight some of the stuff that may not be obvious in the pictures. It does have a clear Oklahoma title.
Full front windshield convertible stainless trim along with a spare header.
1955 Chevy split bench seat.
Bottom of convertible backseat. I do not have the top.
Convertible top bows. It'll need new hardware and there's rust on the underside of the header but it's there w mounting brackets and pivot points.
Quarter, wing windows and door Frames.
Pinch well and tack strip. Unfortunately someone cut the ends off the pinch well.
Convertible pump motor and cylinders.
Rear seat garnish moldings.
Convertible rear arm rests.
1 piece California rear bumper.
There are two left side quarter spears and I'm missing the right side.
Electric wiper motor. Instrument and speaker bezels.
Most of the front grill pot metal along w front grill.
Quarter belt line stainless is from a hardtop. Most guys are now cutting the hardtop stainless down and sliding under the pinch well. Very difficult to tell the difference once installed.

New Ride Tech coil overs ($600 new) for a 4 link in the rear and a new master cylinder.
What you see is what comes with the car. If I can find more items that go with the car, they are yours but no promises.
There's well over $5k worth of parts that come with the car. I tried to price it fair with a very reasonable buy it now. I'm loosing my shirt of this one but it's time to move on.
I have a ton of tri-5 parts at the family farm. Mostly hardtop and misc stuff with a few convertible items here and there. Unfortunately it's two hours away from here and I don't get there often. In addition to a bunch of parts there is an old 1955 210 4 door and a 1956 210 4 door. Both are parts cars. The 56 has a 1 piece frame. I also havefour front, 6 piston Z06 calipers with rotors for sale along with a set of 17" Intro Twisted Vista rims if you want to put the big brakes on this car. All the stuff is for sale if you're interested.
$500 deposit paid within 24 hours of auction close. Remainder to be paid within 7 days. Your time is valuable and so is mine, therefore please ask all questions before you bid and not afterwards. I prefer to sell as one bundle but will look at all offers and may even negotiate further if certainparts are removed.
