Chevrolet's third generation Impala is a stylish piece that, with its absence of excessive chrome, suggests GM had officially left the tailfin-induced bender America enjoyed throughout the '50s. At the front of this sleek showboat, a fresh stainless grille hangs four halogen headlights and small amber parking lamps between an ornate Chevrolet crest, a blocky "CHEVROLET" script and a guarded, wraparound bumper. At the top of that grille, subtle hood spears lead the eye to tinted glass that's cleared by bright wipers, sealed in straight frames and reflected in familiar bowtie mirrors. At the sides of that hood, engine-turned, SS-specific trim founds bold "IMPALA" scripts beneath traditional cross-flag emblems and "SS" quarter badging. Opposite that trim, correct door handles and ornate fender louvers perfectly complement an angled antenna and an optional fuel filler shield. And at the back of the car, a stainless-trimmed, engine-turned valence hangs six familiar taillights between a second Chevrolet crest, a small "CHEVROLET" script and a second guarded bumper.

The Chevrolet Impala has always been the backbone of the American car industry. The 1963 Impala featured rectilinear styling with an engine-turned aluminum rear taillight panel surrounded by a chrome border on SS models. The popular "Super Sport" package for 1963 was expanded to include swirl pattern side molding and cove inserts, red SS quarter panel emblems and a full center console with bucket seats. This fine example is an unrestored survivor in excellent condition and very straight body and frame. Options include 327 C.I. Turbo-Fire V8 300 H.P. V8 4BBL, Bucket seats, In-Dash Clock, Center Console, Push button radio with extra speaker radio, Power steering, Power Windows, Center console, Gas door guard, Dual outside mirrors, Dual exhaust system, "Muntz" stereo convertor, 2 speed wiper/washer, Correct bias ply white side wall P215/75R14 tires, 23,646 miles, Ermine White on original Saddle Beige Leather interior, Correct unrestored survivor.

Overall condition is very good, both cosmetically and mechanically. Frame floors are excellent and there are no dents, dings or scratches. Interior is original and in excellent condition. The seats do not have any tears or rips in them. The switches and controls function well. There is no odor or smoke odor inside the vehicle. The seats, the carpet, the headliner, the door panels and the dashboard are all in very good condition, with only a small tear of a few inches on the headliner. The engine runs smoothly and powerfully and the transmission shifts smoothly without any slippage. The ride quality and brakes are also very good.
