1972 Corvette Coupe Project Car

For sale is a 1972 numbers matching corvette coupe project car. This car has 69471 original miles. It is a Pewter silver(Qty.1372) high option car with L48 350ci, 4 SP M20, P/S, P/B, P/W, A/C, AM/FM radio, REAR DEFOGGER, T/T and DELUXE INTEROR, It has the original factory engine, transmission, differential, body and frame. The glass is original except for the new windshield. The entire dash is original and no cracks anywhere including the upper dash pad. All gages work including the clock and radio withnew speakers in upper dash.

There are many new parts that come with this corvette (list at bottom of description and I have the receipts). There has been a lot of work done on this car. The front and rear suspension have been rebuilt including new springs front and rear, new shocks on all 4 wheels, new u-joints in the half shafts and drive shaft and the original brake calipers have been rebuilt plus new brake rotors. The original shifter has been restored and the shifter linkage is new as well. The transmission and rear end were totally rebuilt by a local Chevy dealership, have receipt. The rear differential also had hardened yokes installed along with high torque mounting caps and bolts instead of the stock u bolts plus the rear axle bearing assembles are new.The headlight units have been rebuilt, the dash was removed and all light bulbs were replaced, the clock was repaired, oil pressure line replaced and tested for leaks and a new heater core installed (have original core). The wiper panel lift assembly was removed sanded, painted and lubed and now works smooth. The T tops have new weather strip installed.

New parts:( most not installed yet) deluxe door panels L&R with outer window seals, full car carpet set, heat barrier kit, leather seat covers with foam and installation kit, door handles, both outside mirrors, luggage rack 1977 style with pins, nose emblem, front fender emblems, L & R exhaust bezels, license plate bezel, complete vacuum hose set, weather strip seals for both doors and back window, front and rear bumper bolt sets. Full set exhaust pipes, mufflers and rectangular exhaust tips. Gas tank with new sending unit, includes seals and mounting ring with new bolts. Both full length fuel lines feed and return. Brake lines at wheels and frame mounted. Radiator core support. Remanufactured power steering pumps, ram and slave cylinder.1973 style body mount kit.8 bags of interior screw sets. Front lower air deflector. Distributer shaft and worm gear, plus lots of other small parts both after-market and NOS.

I would recommend you either look at the car in person or if that is not possible have someone inspect this car for you, it is a project car that needs more work to be road worthy.
