I am selling my 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle 2 Door Sport Coupe. It is an original, 1 owner car that has been in the family since new in 1971. Still runs just like it did when it was new! Currently registered, insured, and inspected. Turn the key and it starts right up every time, idles like a sewing machine, runs great, and stops like it should. It has always been driven around (never sat for too long) and therefore always properly maintained - it doesn't even leak after all these years! The original small block is still under the hood. It runs strong and sounds great through the dual exhaust. Power steering is smooth. The 3 speed manual transmission shifts with ease and the clutch is like new. The shifter has been moved from the column to a HURST shifter on the floor. All the windows go up and down smoothly, all the doors and trunk open and close with ease. All the locks, lights, signals, radio, etc... all work properly. There is a modern stereo hidden in the glove box.There is some damage to the body panels over the years that can be seen in the pics.The paint is original and has never been repainted or repaired - no bondo or filler anywhere. The chrome and polished trim is all there and in good shape. The floors have some patches, trunk is original, and the frame is in good shape. The interior is complete, but does show some wear. It has black SS style wheels. It has a great natural patina to it and turns heads everywhere I go. Not a show or museum car but it is a great classic muscle car that is loads of fun to drive and will make somebody very happy for many years to come.
