Don't know much about these cars but, car runs and drives great...inspections welcomed! Car has been sitting and mechanical restoration has been done. Over $5,500 put into car. Wife said has to go !Have most Receipts for work done. Still get thumps up and many compliments on this car. Believed to have Z52 option. This is what previous owner said. I do see optional radiator boost fan.
PROS: The list below are new or parts....4 new BF Goodrich G Force sport comp 2 tires plus wheel algiment.New shocks, New Calipers, New brakes, Brakes hoses, Both oil sensors changed, New convertible top, Horn relay, Horn retainer ring, power streeing pump, power steering pressure hose and return hose, rack and piñon assembly, smog pump, full tune-up (AC Delco), ignition wires, distributor cap, rotor, loom ignition wires, upper and lower radiator hoses, new thermostat, new heater hoses,Cooling by-pass hoses, in-take warming hoses and all hose clamps, replace all vacuum hoses and PCV hoses, mass air flow sensor, mass power relay and burn off relay, automatic belt tensioner and serpentine belt, transmission flush and synthetic automatic transmission service, flushed system with BG flush kit and fill with 16 quart of synthetic fluids, all fluids changed including rear differential fluid, Replaced temperature sending unit pigtail, fuel pump and fuel filter, HD 84 month battery, pioneer am/fm CD stereo with remote control and aux input, 4 new speakers, I have original Bose stereo included, dash pad, door sills, leather armrest, no over-heating issues, no check engine lights, no leaks...bottom of car is bone dry, headlights open perfectly, fog lights work as well. All glass in great condition, no chips, cracks or scratches, All gauges work perfectly, car has ignition cut-off switch which is a anti-theft device,
CONS:Power antenna not working (Eckler's sells repair kit for $39.95), release cable for convertible top (Eckler's sells new cable for $39.95), I have original spare tire and jack, but spare is old. Minor flaws in clear coat, mostly on rear deck due to Florida sun
Car is 29 years old, and has normal wear and tear for a car of this age. This Car as far as I know has never been modified. Nicely detailed engine compartment. Pictures slow distributor cover off, I have it and will supply it.I have original owner's manual and other books included.
