Wow, take a look at this great looking and professionally modernized "69 Chevy 4x4" pick-up. Over $85K was invested during the professional restoration process, not including the owners personal time. We are sure, many have considered this type of conversion but never followed thru... So, listen up! This tedious process began with professional fabrication by Kenny's Rod Shop. Combining a solid 1969 C-20 long bed pick-up body with a 2000 Chevy K-2500 4x4 chassis (6.0 Vortec V8 AOD), was no easy task. The entire 69 C20 body was removed from its original chassis, the 2000 received the same while leaving in place the factory firewall, floor pans and all related wiring/accessories/features. In order to receive the early C20 body, the chassis was shortened 5" inches to fit the 69 rear wheel wells etc... The C20 cab and bed was then prepared by Kenny's Rod shop to fit the existing late model frame/floor pans/firewall without disturbing the factory power electronics, computer, full instrumentation and climate (AC) related systems. Once assembled the body was prepped for a professional quality 2013 Dodge Red basecoat/clearcoat by Jack Bruck & Tony Long. Rhino Linings of Boise performed the bed-liner coating, tonneau cover and entry steps. A good once over of the mechanical's were done by Brent Rule-Restoration Rods, Capital Transmission, Boise Muffler and tune by Team 208 Motorsports. Featuring a professional quality Leather interior from Upholstery by Koop-Robert Grime. Retaining all of the modern conveniences of the 2000 K2500 donor including power split bucket seating, factory instrument cluster, steering column & components, Air-Conditioning & climate-control, power windows/locks, power mirrors, updated audio and all new glass by Glass Hero Aaron Lyman. In closing, we could go on forever but at this time, we feel it's best to watch our "Narrated" 13+ minute HD video and review 60+ high resolution photos for the rest of the story. Please feel free to call us with your questions and/or purchase interest. This is one sweet driving classic truck... |
