Updates to this original 6 cylinder/3 speed on the column car include; fresh 1959 Corvette 283 with 1965 327 heads, fully reworked for unleaded gas, Becool radiator, Flexalite fan, Billit March pulleys, Proform chrome water pump, Classic Chevy chrome power steering pump, Chrome 100 amp alternator, Mr.Gasket aluminum finned valve covers, Holly 650 double pumper carb, Edlebrock air cleaner, Edlebrock proformer intake, Hooker plated long tube headers, MSD HEI distributor, Mallory ignition wires, Crane cam, lifters, and valve springs, McCloud clutch, Lakewood bell-housing, Muncie 4-speed transmission, Hurst competition shifter, Remote controlled electric exhaust with 2.5 inch Flowmaster mufflers. power disc brake conversion, completely rebuilt front suspension, Ididit polished tilt steering column with Billit Banjo steering wheel, and idiot light to gauge swap with tachometer. This vehicle also has a working factory AM/FM radio, power convertible top, all new SS emblems, and new door panels and arm rests.
This beautiful car was restored for a customer in 2015 as a daily driver/go anywhere vehicle. The customer has recently passed.
