1963 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210
Hello, up for auction today is my 1963 Chevy Bel Air. This car started life as a white bare bones 250 power glide car, but has transformed into the slick ride you see today. The car was sandblasted down to bare metal, some patch work was done but overall it was a very clean car too start with, gloss black paint was then applied to the body, door seams, hood and truck areas...no signs of white anywhere are left. Then the top was given a green flake paint job too really set her apart, it really looks good in the sunlight. The old 250 was tired and the power glide was weak, so they were pulled and a rebuilt 283 was put in her place. The engine is topped with a 4 barrel intake and Edelbrock carb, starts easy runs good with no strange noises or smoke, has good power too... enough to do a one wheel wonder show! Has a new aluminum radiator that keeps the car cool on 100+ degree days sitting in traffic. Also has a hei set up for reliability and has been wired correctly for the right voltage also. Nice duel exhaust sound good but not terrible loud. The 700r4 works good also, it's great having overdrive and this thing hauls on the interstate, 80mph at 2100rpm. All the brakes and suspension have been gone through with new parts. It's manual steering and there is a small amount of play, but all parts are new and tight. Brakes are 4 wheel drum, but has had new lines new master new cylinders...they will lock up all 4 wheels if your strong enough to do it! She drives nice...not like a 2015 but like a 63. The car has been lowered with the correct springs and leafs, not a hack job, she rides really great, no rubbing or binding problems. The chrome is nice and some of it is new! New 15 inch American racing wheels and brand new tires. All gauges, lights, and heater/defrost work...with the exception of: wipers work for 15 min, then time out (get hot?) After you let them sit for a min they work again. The speedo is 5mph fast. Has a original radio but not installed or been tested too see if it works. Also the aftermarket oil gauge does work, but the crappy plastic line broke so as of now it is not reading anything. All windows and doors open and shut well, even the wing windows. The interior has new seat covers, new door panels, new carpet, new headliner. In all this is a fantastic running and driving car. It's far from perfect...some paint on the car was buffed to thin, the interior you can see was a amiture job, but I was not embarrassed to show the car one bit! This is a really good starter car/daily driver and priced accordingly I think. Good luck and if you have any questions or need any pictures of a certain area let me know. If you have Zero feedback please emal me first, and I will sell to oversea buyers, but everything for shipping and transportation of the car will be done on your end, I'll help where I can. 500 down in 24 hours or car gets relisted also. Again good luck and thanks for viewing my auction.Vehicle Details:
