Description:

1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

We present this low mileage, all original, exceptionally clean 1990 Corvette ZR-1 in a rare color combination. The ZR-1 was revolutionary for its time, producing a whopping 375hp in an engine developed in part by Lotus engineering, and built by Mercury Marine. It has a power key which activates the secondary fuel injectors and intake runners for full power mode. The car also set the 24-hour speed record at an amazing 175.885mph average. It was one of the first sports cars to offer selectable ride control using a hydraulic system with three different settings. These special corvettes also offered a significantly wider rear end with enormous 315-section rear tire. 1990 was the first year of a six model-year production run, and the only year with the C4 1st-generation style nose. This particular ZR-1 is a completely original time capsule, with just over 17k miles on the clock. It was ordered with optional Electric A/C and dual removable roof panels. The paint and leather are in collector grade condition. The wheels are perfect with no pitting or curb rash, and the windshield which is well known for its delamination around the edges shows absolutely none; it looks brand new. This car was stored properly! It comes with two full sets of keys including two power keys, all original books, Corvette tire gauge, wheel lock key and extra lug nuts, window sticker, and the most complete set of delivery and pre-delivery documentation I think I've ever seen. Order guides, order sheets, the delivery bill of lading from factory to dealer, the pre-delivery inspection sheet and work order, and more. All of those are scanned and viewable on our website in the documents section. We just serviced the car and fitted brand new Gooodyear Eagle F1 tires all around, replaced necessary injectors, charged the A/C, and changed the fluids. The only non-operational item on the car is the radio, which needs a bit more diagnosis. This is truly a collector piece in superb condition that will satisfy the most discriminating buyer.
