You are looking at one of the finest 1980 Corvettes you will ever see! There has been well over $25,000 invested (including purchase price) having every mechanical item on the car replaced professionally with the best n.o.s and aftermarket parts money can buy. The car looks stock and comes with all the important original parts. It has a 350cid engine with 66,500 original miles. The car has been garage kept.
The car has had all of the following done:
New suspension from Vette brakes and products (complete), urethane bushings, upgraded sway bars, New Springs, new shocks, new rear bearings, four wheel alignment, new tires. Brakes are brand new with o ring calipers, new stainless steel lines, new master cylinder. New stainless steel borla exhaust. New power steering (complete). Engine has Factory block numbers with matching Dart heads, competition high-energy cam, cast aliminum performer Edelbrock intake manifold, 795cfm performer Q-Jet carb, roller rockers, double roller timing chain, newly recored radiator, new AC compressor (upgraded), new belts, hoses, etc. All parts are new not rebuilt and I have all receipts. If it's a bolt on, it's new, and that goes for the interior as well.
The interior is nearly perfect. Everything mechanical is new. Car has a couple minor paint chips it has been repainted. The air conditioning needs to be charged. There is a leak somewhere I haven't gotten a chance to fix. The compressor is good. I have never shown the car professionally but it blows away a lot of the cars I have seen at Major shows. To top it off the car is wicked fast and brakes and handles more like a C5 than an 80. You also get brand new weather stripping for the car although the original is very good. Obviously this is a 35 year old car, it is very good, but no old car is perfect and sale is, of course, as is. I will be happy to answer any other questions you may have.
