1972 Chevrolet C-10

1972 Chevy C-10 pickup 2WD. Truck had been restored years ago and has been in a garage most of the time since.6 cyl. Automatic runs great. No smoke even when started cold. Tires are near bald.Wagon wheel rims look like they were new but sitting around. Brakes need to be checked before you drive it. They work but lines are rusty and bleeders are stuck and need to be bled. (Master cylinder was changed but never bled the system).Otherwise a running driving truck! Lights all work. New battery. Alternator looks likeit's been replaced recently. Starter is newer. Has power steering and power brakes. No A/C. Front disc brakes. There is some rust. The worst seems to be under the bed liner and the back bumper. I tried to get a pic of the worst looking spots. The windshield has been recently removed and checked around the seals and all is good there. Frame and trailing arms are covered in surface rust but are very solid and no holes that I could find. Most of the trim is nice. Right rear tail light trim is dented but usable. Grill is original and excellent - just the crack in the bowtie you can see in the picture. Radiator core support is nice. Cowl is not rusted out. Tail gate is good-I can't believe it's not a replacement (it may be??). Doors are nice except the driver's side has a hole rusted - easy to repair see pictures. Glass is all good. Weather stripping is getting dry and cracked. there are some oil leaks. The worst seems to be the dipstick tube for the transmission. If the trucksits for a week or so the fluid drains down and runs outon the ground. Should be easy fix.The interior is serviceable. Door panels look pretty good. Dash pad is cracked. Seat cover doesn't seem to be brittle but does have some issues - you decide if you want to change it or not. I actually didn't look at the head liner...will do that.Tonneau cover isreally nice shape. Has a bed liner.Doors open and close very solid and easy. This truck would make a great restoration project or you could put tires on and check the brakes and just drive it as is. Located in East Liverpool, OH 43920.
