So I've added some pictures of the rust, but it's really not rust, it's the pits or holes after glass-blasting. The only rust I know of would be in back of the actual quarterpanels and thelower front door pillars as shown in my new pictures. When you swap the quarters, that will be gone. What I did on the drivers side Pillar was drill a drain hole. On the passenger side I would replace that lower section, but blast behind it onceexposed, then the paint with frame pain, then weld shut. Note this is a California/Nevada West Coast Car and every bolt "but two" came out when I disassembled it. This was amazing. I don't think that could happen with anything this old, east of Nevada, so if you're going to rebuild, this is the platform to build on. Probably over 50 hours blast, paint, and clean up have already been done. I cut out the areas that after blastingdidn't look brand new. Even the inside roof is blasted and painted and the steel in this car is thick and good like it came from the factory. Title comes with this body. Check my otherauctions for the rest of the parts to the car. Thanks so much for viewing my auction, and I'm looking forward to dealing with you all soon!Best Regards, Scott Myers

**NOTE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST SECOND TO SNIPE THIS AUCTION OR YOU WILL LOOSE!!!. THIS IS A NEVADA/CALIFORNIA CAR AND ALL BUT 2 BOLTS CAME OFF!! THEY DON'T HAVE THESE CARS WEST OF NEVADA THATS WHY I BOUGHT IT! THIS IS NOT A RUST BUCKET THAT WILL EVAPORATE WHEN YOU HIT IT WITH A BLASTER, NOR HAS SOME RUST CHEMICAL BEEN PUT ON THIS CAR AND PAINTED. IT'S ALL THICK STEEL AND YOU WILL BE HARD PRESSED TO GET THIS 1968 STEEL THICKNESS ON THE STREET. I'M SELLING IT BECAUSE I HAVE OTHER CLASSIC CARS, I'M STARTING A NEW COMPANY, A BOAT MOTOR TO REBUILD, PLUS A LOT OF OTHER STUFF! BEST REGARDS, SCOTT MYERS!

THIS IS THE MAC-DADDY AUCTION THAT HAS THE TITLE, AND IS VERY MOST IMPORTANT! I'M SORRY, THERE IS NO BUY IT NOW BECAUSE THERE ARE ALREADY BIDS AND I WILL NOT SHUT IT DOWN. 99% OF THE BIDDERS HERE WILL WAIT UNTIL THE LAST 4 SECONDS TO BID BUT THAT WILL BE TOO LATE! THE PROAUCTIONEERSWILL HAVE 6 SCREENS UP BIDING ON THE SAME AUCTION AT THE LAST 8 SECONDS IN 2 SECOND INCREMENTS SO BY THE TIME YOU SEEYOU'VE LOST THE BID, THE AUCTION WILL HAVE CLOSED. MY SUGGESTION IS PROXY BID TO THE LAST PENNY YOU'RE WILLING TO SPEND ON THIS PROJECT, AND NOT A CENT MORE. PLEASE VIEW MY OTHER AUCTIONS, AS I WILL BE ADDING MORE PARTS FROM THIS CAR ON A DAILY BAISIS!NOTE: MANY OF THE PARTS IN MY OTHER AUCTION ARE REBUILT, GLASS-BLASTED, AND PAINTED WITH POR-15, AND SOME TOOK SEVERAL HOURS EACH. AT $100 PER HOUR, IT WOULD COULD COST YOU $500 EACH, JUST TO RECREATE THE PARTS IN MY OTHER AUCTIONS, AND THE CAR REBUILDERS KNOW THIS! SO, YOU COULD TAKE THESE PARTS AND CHARGE MY LABOR/TIME TO THE POTENTIAL CUSTOMER BECAUSE I HAVE DONE ALL OF THIS WORK FOR YOU, AND THAT'S ASSUMING THAT YOU HAD A RARE 1968 CALIFORNIA CAR THAT WAS IN GREAT SHAPE TO BEGIN WITH! ALSO, THERE IS NO DIRT OR GREASE SO THESE PARTS ARE FUN TO WORK WITH! LASTLY, YOU CAN INVEST IN STOCKS AND JUST LOOK AT A NUMBER, OR YOU CAN INVEST IN A CLASSIC CAR AND DRIVE IT EVERY DAY! SO WHEN YOUR PORTFOLIO LOOSES HALF OF ITS ENTIRE WORTH IN A DAY, THIS 68 CLASSIC FRAME-OFF WILL STILL BE WORTH A SMALL FORTUNE. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS AT AL, PLEASE REACH OUT ANY TIME! THANKS SCOTTY AND PLEASE VIEW MY OTHER AUCTIONS!!!

Just an FYI, The name of this car is "Yuba Malibu Chevelle," or "Yuba" for short. I thought a car this rare, that has had so much work on her, deserves a name, but you can name her whatever you like! She comes from Sunny Yuba California, hence her name. I will be adding the name YUBA to my other auctionsthat have her parts, so you know what parts go to her. She's American Made, and She's Made in California!
