1969 Chevrolet Camaro
I have finally decided tosellmy 1969 Camaro convertible Super sport/Rally sport with 396 cubic inch 375 horsepower engine equipped withL-89 winters aluminum heads,The engine wasbuilt by Ronnie Prestwood racing engines in Lenior, North Carolina. Themotor runs very strongwithCompCams nostalgic series L78 solidcam and lifter combo with roller tip rockers. The correct vintagewinters gm aluminum heads on thereto make the motor breathe nicely.Holley780 cfm carb, winters 3933163 gm intake, MSD pro billetsetup withMSD wiresand has aftermarket Vintage Air a/c that blows ice cold for those hot summer days . this car has had a full frame off, no expense spared 2 year rotisserie restoration that started with blasting the body and frame, then new gm NOS quarter panels were installed not cheap reproduction quarters,to make the body a completely rust free canvas tospray the factory original code 76 Daytona yellow paint with correct black hockey fender stripes. The original black convertible top was replaced and a correctnew top was installed that has only been down once. The interior in in excellent shape and is custom styleinterior with black custom weave seat pattern. The exhauststarts withaftermarket Hooker competition long tube headers flowing into a custom made 3 inch exhaust going through one transverse Flowmaster muffler into dual chrome factory style exhaust tips. The transmission is automatic with2800 rpmstall converter, Out back is a 12 bolt posiwith stampedBT code with original3.55 ratio gm posigears and posi carrier. Suspension in rear isa set of original gm factory installed 5 layer heavy duty leaf springs. This 1969 camaro RS/SS convertible is in excellent shape and drives excellent as well.I have a full photo album containing all the pictures of the professional restoration.I also have a folder with well over $40,000 of invoices from parts and work done during the restoration. The wheels are a rare N66 factory option that was discontinued early on in 1969 Camaro production as an availableoption. The engine bay area and the underbody were detailed andpart number taggedto recreate the day it left thefactory look. The hood is theoriginal early optioned ss hood. The car does have the front and rear spoiler option.Theoriginal RS headlight vaccum system was replaced with aftermarket electric headlight door motors and they are very fast to open and close, I do have the original vaccum sytem included with the car. This a very well built andhard to find 1969 Camaro convertible RS /SS as they only made a few thousand of theseconvertibles with big block motors and maybe less inthis color option Daytona yellow.Youcan drive anywhere and it's worthy of being in anycar show you take the car, I have won a trophy at every show I attended with the car. I'm looking for $70,000 with $1,000 deposit due within 24 hours after listing is ended. I will help arrange shipping and loading the car at the buyers expense. Please check my feedback and rest assured you will get what you payed for and then some.
