1969 z28 Camaro X33

1969 Chevrolet Camaro

Up for auction is my matching numbers1969 Z28 Camaro that I purchased 2 years agofrom the second owner who owned it for the last 28 or so years. The car has not be Registered since 1995.I bought the car with the motor and transmission already out of the car. The motor transmission and rear end are all matching numbers, please see the pictures. I have a lot of picturesof the car just could not upload all of them.

The motor wasrebuilt years ago but never reinstalled so I disassembled it and replace all the seals installed a new clutch and pressure plate with the original bell housing and all of it's original4 speed linkage. Removedthe front endso that I could detail everything under hood. Reinstalled theDZ302. I then replace the exhaust with a stainless chambered exhaust using the original manifolds.

Replacedthe front brakes,master cylinder and brake boosterand calipers. I drove the car around the block the brakes still need a little work as I think the rear wheel cylinders may need to be replaced due tothe brake pedal is hard does not seam like the rears are working.

The interior had a musty smell from sitting so long so I replaced the carpet and rear seat cover. I have new front seat covers and cushions the will go with the car. The interioris in excellent condition for being all original.

The body will need paint some day to make the car show quality, I was not going to paint the car as it still holds patina. The car was painted about 25 years ago.The body is in excellent condition the floorsare still the originalGM sheet metalno holes. There is no rot on this car some minor surface rust but no holes. The trunk has a small spot the size of a pen, you can see it in the picture of the trunk.

All the glass is original and all windows work as they should.

The tires are dry rotted and will need to be replaced for safety reasons.

This is an extremelynice car that will need a little work to dial it in. I have done all the hard work. the only reason I'm selling it isI have a finished 69 RallysportZ28thatI don'tuse I also am working on a 61 corvette that I would like to finish.
