1967 Chevrolet Impala SS 427 You are viewing a very rare and fully restored original factory Impala SS 427. The car was purchased at Gene Fiedler Chevrolet in Seattle WA. Full documentation with original paperwork and protecto plate proving the car is original from factory along with build pictures. This car was not ordered with the Z24 hood option. This car is one of 2213 cars ordered with the L36 Hi Performance 427 making it a very rare car. The car was purchased complete unrestored in 2003. The build started in late 2006 and finished in 2008 with under 1K miles driven since finished. 89K original miles.

Please read on for more particulars of the car Body/Paint: The body was in overall in very good condition with a few areas that needed small patch panels. The rear floor pans were replaced. The body was prepped by bead blasting the entire body off frame with multiple coats of primer and blocked sanded to a nice flat finish prior to paint. The paint is base/clear Nantucket Blue as original to the car. Wet sanded and polished to a beautiful finish. Shows well. Gas tank is original and restored with new sender.

Interior: Restored blue interior with unique options. No tach idiot lights for both volt and oil pressure. Clock only on gauge cluster.

Options: Power brakes Special suspension Push button radio 14 inch wheel equipped Tinted windshield Comfort tilt steering wheel Seat belts with retractors Front running lights R/C rear view mirror 825/14 WSW tires Rear window defroster Power steering Power windows 385 HP V8 Fan drive equipped Turbo Hydramatic. Undercoat Rear seat speaker.

Running Gear: All original restored engine (427/385HP) trans (TH 400) and 12 bolt rear end as original non posi with hiway gears. Transmission pan was replaced with a one quart larger pan. Original valve covers transmission pan goes with the car. Original distributor carb air cleaner as well as recored radiator among other original components.

Suspension: Restored as original with rear air shocks.

Brakes: Restored as original.

Exhaust: Restored as original except using flow master style mufflers.

Bright work: Restored as original. Bumpers are aftermarket.

Glass: Windshield was replaced with correct aftermarket. The rest of the glass is original in very good condition.

Wheels/Tires: The car came from the factory with steel wheels and SS hubcaps. The original steel wheels are gone and do not come with the car. The original hubcaps unrestored come with the car. Aftermarket 15 inch rally’s wheels with cap and rings with 245/60 15 radial tires.

What doesn’t work: fuel gauge radio and clock.

Summary: This 427 Impala is rare and very desirable today with a very low production number. The car runs and drives excellent and is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner.
