Description:
1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210
Bad ass big block 57 Chevy!Life story: I'm the very 1st person to ever disassemble this car! I was looking for a new project when this popped up for sale. It's originally a 6cyl 210 sedan, had no motor or trans when I got it, was a complete car other than that but needed complete resto. All body panels on this car are the original panels, all the original wiring is intact, working and in good condition. Dome light, dash lights, speedo, fuel, turn signals are working. I did not hook up idiot lights or temp gauge though. There is an after market gauge set under the dash though with oil press, temp, and volts.
Repairs that were done to this car are as follows: Front DS floor pan (original donor was used), PS rear pan (Chinese), partial trunk pan patch, small patch in both quarters just behind the door about 2"x2" in size, PS fender at bottom. Welding was done by experienced welder in auto body and aircraft sheet metal (me), all patches were butt welded then smoothed out (pics of repairs available upon request) This car has good body braces and rockers, there was absolutely no rot in those places. All the body work and paint has been done with professional grade products (evercoat, BASF, etc.)
Bottom line on body, NOT SHOW CONDITION, very nice driver but some of the chrome is faded, some chrome is very nice because I've replaced it. The windshield is brand new, side and back glass are original and has some scratches in it. Some of the molding have small dings, the paint is about a 9 out of 10 due to some small imperfections. Seats are new, the original frames were used but all new foam and covers were made, new black carpet, new firewall pad, and new door sill plates.
I bought a new grill for the car, new door handles, mirrors, and lock set.

This car needs very little to complete, I have most the moldings for it, the 2 lower quarter moldings and the fender moldings have to be replaced but I have both upper quarter moldings, door moldings, and belt line moldings for this car. The side glass is not installed yet, but I have all the parts plus brand new Danchuk vent window assemblies. The rear bumper is not in good shape so I will include just the brackets for it, and I have a descent front bumper for the car if you choose to install it. (looks cooler without it) But It's disassembled, so I'll throw it in the trunk with the car if desired. Needs interior door panels and headliner to complete interior. Thats pretty much it, this car is almost there. A little bit more work and this 57 is done! I've spent a ton of money on this car, lots of new stuff and I'm ready to let it go so I can start a new project. Not desperate so no low ballers. I've done all the work to this car myself and know every single thing about it so if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Also, I am not desperate, no low ballers! There's no cheap car for you here, my reserve price is very reasonable for what I've seen in the market, serious buyers only please.
