Description:

1987 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4x4 Pickup

You are bidding on a very nice little short bed truck, this truck spent most of it's life in Southern Utah, Where the climate is arid, and trucks do not rust. So this truck is 100 percent rust free. has a 4: lift, BFG all terrain 33" tires, and American Racing wheels, Dual shocks up front, dual steering stabilizer, And new chrome diff covers. Inside, the carpet is new, headliner is new, seat is new, and everything has received a freshening up. Under the hood resides a 454, with a new edelbrock carb, (PLEASE NOTE, THIS TRUCK IS NO LONGER FUEL INJECTED) it had been converted before I got it, and it runs so well, I didn't see the need to change it, I do however have an 87 computer, wiring harness, and TBI that I will include in the sale of the truck if buyer wants it. Engine has around 39K Original miles, (NOT REBUILT) and was out of a motor home, has roller rockers, double roller timing chain, chrome timing cover, chrome oil pan, nickel plated headers, polished intake, Moroso valve covers, Accel coil, and I mild Howard's cam. 700R4 has probably been rebuilt at some point, but I dont know when that might have been. Truck has fresh paint, mostly new trim, and is a real head turner when I drive it, everyone that sees it loves it. This truck is a survivor that has not been taken apart, but has just been freshened up a bit. Paint job is not perfect, but is in reality very nice. And NO panels have been replaced. It is still wearing all of the sheet metal it was born with. It does have a few little things that do not work, The AC has no lines to the compressor, the speedo quit working a couple of years ago, someone wired in an oil and temp gauge, Lock is broken on the sliding window, and it only runs off of the left tank. IT also does have a minor exhaust leak at the moment that I have not had time to fix. Other than those few little things, it is a very nice, stand up truck, and I don't think you will be disappointed if you end up being the winning bidder. Good luck to you. Also, I do have the truck advertised locally, so I reserve the right to close the Auction early if I end up selling it. Tanks for looking, and happy bidding. Any questions, feel free to ask them, and I will help in any way that I can. Another note, I do have the trim for the back of the cab, and will be installing it in the next couple of days.
