1978 Chevrolet Camaro

I am selling this car for a 73 yo friend that can not longer drive since losing his ability to see and hear well. He has owned the car about 11 years and driven it only 5k miles in all that time. He wanted a car he could drive to car shows in comfort (cold air) yet have incredible power if he chose to use it. He has used the best of everything in building this car (over 20k in receipts for drive train alone). It has NEVER been raced and only shown at local cars shows. The engine is a well built balanced 383 with Comp Cam, roller lifters and rockers. It sports an Edelbrock Air Gap intake with Holley 750 double pumper. It has Hooker headers, and Flowmaster exhaust. The transmission is a built 700R4 shifted through a B&M Quick Silver shifter. Front brakes with just upgraded to C-5 Corvette 13 inch brakes with slotted rotors. There is an aluminum radiator with a new digitally controlled programmable fan. The battery was relocated to the trunk and the Optima battery is a couple of months old. The MSD box has the programmable rev limiter. The front end has Hotchkis 2" drop springs and heavy duty sway bar. The rear is built to handle the power with Mosier axles, 342 gears, Detroit Locker. It goes on and on.
My friend built this car to enjoy but with the recent deterioration of his eye sight, it makes no sense for it to sit and not be driven and enjoyed. I live in Orlando but he lives in The Villages and that is where the car is. I would encourage an inspection there or perhaps I could make arrangements to bring it to Orlando for review.
I did take the car for a short drive. It started right up, idles smoothly and drives like a dream. The air was cold and everything works as it should. The steering is tight and responsive.
Should you have any questions, I will get with him and get back to you.
PS: I am aware of every scam there is so don't bother me if that is your plan, Cash, wire transfer or a real cashier's check works.
