1963 Chevrolet C-10

Up for sale is a 99% original un-molested one family owned 1963 GMC SWB Step Side that I picked up a few months ago. It's an original California truck that spent all it's life up in the mountains near Placerville where it was originally sold in 1963 still sporting it's OG California black plates with Thompson's GMC plate frames. It has a 305E V6 mated to a 3 OTT manual transmission. It was parked for approx. 10-15 years when I picked it up. We went through the fuel & cooling systems, brakes, lights, all fluids & a new set of whitewall tires. I had the wheels powder coated gloss white. We then buffed& polished the original paint. Had a new single exhaust system from the manifolds back installed. The interior is all OG down to the floor mat except the seat & single sun visor we had redone. All the glass is good & the windows roll up & down like they should. The door shut solid like new. We replaced the ign. & door locks so everything is keyed alike & working. All the lights, signals, heater& gauges work (gas gauge is a little temper-mental) The body is really straight besides the small dent in the lower passenger side door. There is a small rust hole on the drivers side hood next to the V6 emblem about the size of a quarter, other than that this is a very solid truck. I have pics of the underside of the truck if your interested. The bed needs new wood. I've put a couple hundred miles on this truck & it's a good solid running & driving truck. These original trucks are getting harder & harder to find they only made so many & people are buying them up, the days of buying $800 trucks is over. I'm sure there are some things I forgot so if you have any questions shoot me an e-mail & I'll get back to you. We can also do a static drop on it or a full air ride system if the buyer is interested. This truck is being sold as is, buyer is responsible for shipping but I can help load it on a truck or deliver it to a shipping port for a fee. Thanks for looking.
