Description:
1969 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe
Selling with a very reasonable reserve, my 1969 Chevy Camaro. This car is rebuilt or restored all over, from top to bottom inside and out. All new front end parts including ball joints, tie rods, rotors and brake calipers and new springs on all 4 corners. it has 2 1/2 inch aluminized, FlowMaster exhaust with stainless steel tail pipes, outfitted with 4 new genuine Cragar S/S chrome wheels with new BF Goodrich Radial T/A white letter tires. Wheels and tires on rear are wider than on the front. All brand new, rare deluxe interior in black. Also brand new carpet. The motor has about 5,000 miles on it. There are too many parts to list.
Car has a X44 code Camaro with some nice options such as disc brakes and deluxe interior with woodgrain trim. it's upgraded with a hopped up 350 and SS badges. The engine was replaced many years ago, so it's not a number matching car.
This Camaro has power disc brakes and power steering. Car has a nice sounding stereo with all Pioneer components. Just this spring, a new AC Delco battery was installed.
This car has had a complete restoration back in 2002 and still looks just as good as it did then. This is a testament of the quality work which was done. I would rate the paint a 8.5/10 with no rust issues anywhere the car. It is a beautiful bright red with black stripes. I believe the car retains all of it's original sheet metal, except I know at some point the floor pans were nicely replaced. You have to look pretty hard to find the very few nicks or chips in the paint. Car has always been babied. Odometer shows 26,000, probably 126K?
The motor is a 355 ci (.030 over 350) with a very mild build, which was meant to be very streetable. It has a mild cam which sounds awesome, coated headers and a full Flowmaster exhaust all the way to the back bumper. The engine has all MSD ignition components including distributor, coil, and MSD 6A box, Has an Edelbrock aluminum intake and Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor. Lots and lots of chrome dress up parts. The car has good power, but is NOT a race car.
Everything works on this car-even the horn dome light and backup lights! It always runs cool and drives super tight and straight. One of the best driving cars of this era I've ever driven. Drives straight down the road with no shakes or shimmies. No leaks and no engine rattles or smoke from this car. This car gets tons of attention everywhere it goes and draws a crowd at any cruise night. This car needs NOTHING, turn the key and drive and smile.
I have a clear title ready for the buyer. I will help in any way to make this a smooth transaction.
