1968 Chevelle SS, 396ci, 4 speed, PosiTrak rearend, VIN#138378k145126.

I just purchased this vehicle. It has been in a garage since 1999. The motor has been replaced. The numbers on motor, T0705EKH-6A215657. The VIN indicates it is a 396, 4 speed, SS Chevelle. It has no AC, no power steering, no power brakes. The numbers on the motor show it to be a 1966, 396. The motor is currently not in the car. But does come with it. It is my believe that the motor has been overhauled, but I make no claim as to condition of motor. The transmission appears to be in good shape. It is equipped with an aftermarket Hurst shifter with reverse lockout. Both front fenders have some rust damage as you can see in pictures. Left front fender has large dent. Both rear fenders have rust around wheel well opening. The inner fenders on rear are in good shape. Both rocker panels have no rust. Drivers side has some scrapes in it. I removed the seats and carpet to inspect the floor. Floor appears to be in very good condition. Trunk floor is also good. As is the lower rear quarters. The front header panel near the hood has a dent. The seats are in good shape for their age and are not broke down. The carpet is in fair shape it will be included but will not be reinstalled. The odometer shows 37779.8. Wheels and tires are mismatched but hold air. Can be seen at Garrison Auto Service, Garden City, KS.
