Here is the cruiser you have been waiting for a completely custom ALL STEEL 1948 Chevy 2 Door Coupe Street Rod. This awesome cruiser has been recently restored throughout the driveline, interior, and accessories and ready to hit the shows and highways.

To start off this 1948 was repainted about 15 years ago, it has held up well through the years as you can tell by the pictures and still has an excellent shine to it. There are some places starting to show some age, but overall it is still very nice with no rust I can find. Car has some minor bondo here and there but nothing major as you can again tell by the pictures and nothing that is out of the ordinary for a car of this age. I get compliments wherever I take it the car is laser straight without any waves. Again it is all steel which is hard to find. This beauty also has custom pin stripping throughout the trunk, body and doors. The hood has a custom matte black layover on it I just had done. All the stainless and chrome are original and or painted to match the car and still in respectable shape given their age.

The interior is brand new, everything from front to back. New seats were installed, with new rear seats and custom armrest. New carpet, new headliner, new sun visors, new heat shielding, new Autometer gauges custom installed where the clock and speedometer used to be. New Radio with MP3 and Bluetooth capabilities, complete new Vintage A/C set up that will freeze you out of the car even in 100-degree Florida summers. All the glass was recently replaced and the car shows extremely well at any car show. EZ Wiring harness was just installed and everything works as it should.

Engine is a fresh with only 7000 miles GM 350 Crate engine. Factory rating of 330 Horse and it has plenty of get up and go. Has Vortec heads on it and all the specifics are on the GM crate engine website. Starts first time, every time. Compelte HEI ignition was just installed. Runs super cool as it has a new radiator installed and it only runs about 180 all day long. Has brand new Vintage A/C installed as mentioned earlier and it will freeze you out it gets so cold. Brand new power steering helps you steer this cruiser with a pinky, new disc brakes were installed in the front so you can stop on a dime. Nice chrome kit was installed on the engine including the Alternator, and then it was topped off with a 1406 electric choke Edelbrock carburetor for ease of driving and dependability. Hooker headers with custom flowmaster exhaust that exit in front of the rear wheel give it a nice street rod sound going down the highway.

Transmission is a Turbo 350 with 2400 stall, mild shift kit, and custom shifter. Has 7000 miles on the rebuild same as the engine and shifts excellent.

Rear is an 8.5 with eaton posi-trac unit, heavy duty axles and bearings. Richmond 3:42 gear for the highways, and recently replaced shocks all around.

Wheels and tires are brand new smoothies with new tires and really compliment the car.

Underneath is solid with no major rust given a 70 year old car, as you can tell by the pictures.

Trunk is complete with a rear mounted battery and custom 15 gallon fuel cell for those long trips, gets excellent gas mileage believe it or not.

Overall this is a super nice cruiser or cruise in type show car that will be sure to give many years of trouble free owner ship. I drove this car over 200 miles when I got it and it didn’t skip a beat. You will get lots of thumbs up and people taking videos. It is super nice having the A/C and power steering and car drives like a new Cadillac. Please remember the car is almost 70 years old and while most of it has been restored it is still not a brand new car, but as you can tell by the pictures it would be a great addition to any collector or the first time classic car buyer. These old cars are getting harder and harder to find especially in this good of shape, this is on ready turn key just enjoy. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer one.
