1966 IMPALA CONVERTIBLE

1966 Chevrolet Impala

FOR SALE is my 1966 Impala Convertible. I have owned this car for over 30 years and have done everything I have wanted to do with the car so now it is time to move on and find a new owner who will further the car and enjoy. BODY: The Impala currently has a 15 year old Tuxedo Black paint job. The car has been driven cross country every year for club meets, hence there are some minor rock chips. Prior to being painted all panels that had rust were replaced. The power black convertible top has recently been replaced and is in perfect condition. Both bumpers and optional bumper guards have been re chromed and and all trim, except for grill has been replaced with NOS pieces. Rubber trim has also been replaced.
POWERTRAIN: The Impala is equipped with a 327, rebuilt .30 over with a L79 camshaft and original Holley carburetor. The engine is mated with a rebuilt M21 Muncie 4-speed transmission and a 3:36 open rear differential. The dual exhaust is aluminized with flow master mufflers that are correctly routed.
SUSPENSION: The Impala has optional F-41 suspension pieces that include a larger front sway bar and a rear sway bar. All suspension and steering parts have been replaced including a 1967 style idler arm and centerlink. This revised design cuts down on the tire drag in tight corners. I have also updated the power brakes to include a dual master cylinder and front disc brakes for safety and straight stops. The Impala also includes power steering.
INTERIOR: The Impala interior is in excellent condition with all new original style black vinyl, clean door panels and crack free dash pad. Brand new black carpet has just been installed.
