1970 Chevy Blazer K5 CST 4x4 offroad Bronco first gen 1969-72
1970 Chevrolet Blazer
This is one sweet Blazer. I've never had avehicle that draws as much attention. I've literally been forced to pull over to look at it and talk about it. I have owned 4 Blazer's and this is the best riding and driving one I have ever owned. It has fulldyna mat everywhere including inside the doors. It has a very tight suspension. Itdoesn't rattle at all. Spray in liner with a rubber mat in the interior. It has a beautifully crafted roll bar. Look how the fillets were smoothed out. It has a high performance Chevy 350 with a quadrajet carb. Very strong motor that pulls hard and growls. It has less then 5000 miles on it. The trans is a TH350 that wascompletely rebuilt 200 miles ago with a shift kit andkick down added. Transfer case was also rebuilt. Has a 373rear end. 4x4 works. Converted to front wheel disc brakes. It comes with 2 sets of rear seats. It has the bench seat now but could be converted back to the buckets very easily. Included is a Bestop full cover top in great shape. The side windows have been removed and the openings have metal plates that have been nicely welded on for a smooth contoured look.. It does come with Bestop vinyl side windows not pictured. Has a very nice stereo with a bank of Alpine amps and some nice stereo and speakers. Lockable metal center console wherestereo is located. It has a dual battery and larger capacity alternator for the high amp stereo. LED side markers and tail lights.
It only has very little surface rust underneath as seen in pics. The rockers are solid but the previous owner cut a flap to secure theroll bar nuts. They could be welded closed ( all the material is there). There are a few paint bubbles in the door bottoms as seen in the pics. It has a very high quality single stage paint job that shows very well. Has a deep shine. There are a few paint chips. The fuel gaugedoesn't work when completely full. Starts to work when level gets below 3/4 full. Also if you over fill it will leak out the vent tube. Theair-conditioning and heater worked but the control cables are bound up. I have a new set of cables included. I only drive on nice days and never needed either one. The gas pedal makes a squeaking noise when pressed. The tail gate molding is bent. Thats all the bad.
Its really a solid Blazer that you will have no problems with. Shipping is at owners expense. I will help with theprepping and loading. $1000 deposit within 48 hours and full payment within 7 days.
Ebay is a gamble when it comes to buying cars. Some sellers try to deceive by using clever picture angles and only list the good things about the vehicle. I'm not one of those sellers. I have pictures of this Blazer that show many other angles and other cool features. I waslimited on Ebay to 24 pics. I want you to feel good about the purchase and know that you are getting a great Blazer.
Is it a show truck...NO, but it does very well at shows Ive been in but its not going to win you best of show at the Concours de Elegance...ABSOLUTELY NOT. Will you be the coolest guy on the block and the envy of all your car buddies and cruise friend...YOU BET YOUR ASS YOU WILL.
Every truck has issues if it's intended to be a driver. This truck is no exception. Listed above are some of the known issues I feel need to be disclosed to prospective buyers. I wouldn't feel good unless I did. Believe me, these are small issues and the good things about this Blazer far exceed the not so good. Just look at the pictures!!! This thing is sweet!!!
Please look at my reviews. I pride myself with honesty and integrity and I expect the same in return. I don't need any additional help selling my Blazer so don't contact me about it.
