1967 Chevrolet Chevelle

1967 Chevy Chevelle SSThis has been a race car for most of its life. Being that it always was stored in trailers or garages it is in very good condition. It is very solid and all metal body is basically rust free. Underneath is very clean and solid. I pulled the carpets to see what shape floor was in and it is very solid. There are a few small patches in drivers feet area but nothing major. I bought a new panel to fix correctly if you chose to do so.The paint is a older paint job. After removing the many racing stickers that were on it I rubbed the paint out and was actually surprised how good it looks. It would be very acceptable to leave it like it is for now. The body appears to me to be rust free. I d took a magnet to it and I found no bondo nor filler areas. The rockers have no rust and same with underneathe doors. There are several new components on car. I bought shortblock 496 stroker motor to get her moving only run time is break in and started several times just to hear its beautiful voice. I'm telling you it shakes the ground. I pulled the manifold and a valve cover so you could see its brand new. It has a new TCI transmission to take all that HP. Around 575HP. Here is link to motor i bought here on ebay:

New driveshaft. I think the motor mounts might be wrong. I used from something else I had just so you know(was anxious to hear this bad boy)I was moving towards making this a badazz pro street car. Right now I guess it can go either way. If your into racing and mechanically inclined you can have this ready for the track in a weekend. All the wiring works to switches and tach etc. To put it on the street it will be a little more involved but I don't see why it would take more than a week or two. It has slicks on it so you would have to change them to pro street tires. It looks to me that all the old wiring, fuse box, etc is still there. Probably wouldn't take much to get working. The windshield does have a small crack but not in a bad area and small ding on roof. The wiper motor was removed many moons ago but do you really need anyway? The bumpers are in very good condition. It comes with two manifolds. A weind stealth manifold with a 850 double pumper on it. This is what was used to start motor and ran very well. Happened to have a old tunnel ram laying around so I found a flat hood and popped a hole in it. Never did get to point of running it with it but sure looked cool. That comes with it. If it isn't your cup of coffee just sell it. It's a edelbrock tr2x with 750 double pumpers on it. Been sitting long time so carbs might need attention. Comes with original hood too. Also have a new chrome brake master cylinder. 2 distributors. A Mallory hyfire vii coil. New inner fenders. New body mouldings. Have RCI racing seat and if you want a couple regular seats I'm not sure what out of. Has cheetah Scs shifter. Has original roof liner but has tears in it. The dash is in nice shape. No cracks. Weld racing rims. Rear tire size is 31-14-15.I would have loved to finish this but health forces me to sell this and other projects. You won't be disappointed in the condition of car. I looked far and wide to find something this solid and worthy. It is a real 138 car. Was a 4 speed. It still has clutch pedal in it. Have clear title. Any questions please ask. Please do not bid if you don't have your funds in order or are 1000 miles away and not sure how your getting. I am open to offers or trades and will sell before auction ends if we make a deal. Thanks and good luck.
