This is an all original drive train and sheet metal car(MacNeish listed the trani as a replacement because the pan didn't have the numbers stamped into it; it is the original 1969 TH350 trani.). Complete Jerry MacNeish report included. The Protecto Plate shows it was sold and spent most of its time in San Francisco. A more solid convertible cannot be found. This car was solid from top to bottom before its frame off and frame up 18 month restoration. It drives like a new vehicle and never had a hair of body sag. This is a rare cortez silver model. This is a rare 327 engine model as very few 1969s had the 327, most were the 307. This car was a December 1968 build. This car is a automatic with power top, power steering, power drum brakes, and factory tinted glass. All the options can be viewed on the MacNeish report. Every single part was either restored or replaced with top quality parts from ever steering part to each bolt. Every single brake part, gas and brake lines, wiring, fast ratio gear box, weather striping, and any and ever other part you can mention has been restored or replaced with NOS or OEM equivalent. The exhaust is Gardner exhaust. The radio is a reproduction of the original that operates a 10 disc CD changer mounted in the trunk. Ever piece of stainless trim was restored to show quality. The bumpers are show quality chromed. The vehicle is protected by a very nice and effective security system. The one item that is not original is the set of torque thrust rims that are wrapped with BF tires that are new. There is currently a Eaton posi unit with 3:73 gears in the original housing; the factory original carrier and gear goes with the car. There is currently a date matched 1969 four barrel intake and quadrajet carb installed; the factory original 2 barrel intake, breather, and carb go with the car.
