If you are looking for a solid AD Chevy truck to paint a color of your choice, this one is it! I need to make a down payment on some land so this project has to go. My loss is your gain.
1952 Chevy 5 window project. This truck is a roller, there is no engine or transmission. It sits on an original frame with a Camaro front clip and 10 bolt GM posi rear end. It has power steering and power brakes, with the brake booster mounted to the frame. The frame has been cleaned and painted.
Lots of new parts are included such as the grille, tailgate, windshield, door windows, vent windows, back window, window seals for all glass, window channel felt, bed strips, bed bolts and bed wood.This truck is 95% rust free. All of the major rust repair and body work has been finished, it still needs to be gone over with a fine tooth comb before painting, but this is a great start for someone who wants one of these trucks done quickly. It has new cab corners, new lower cowls, new toe boards and new inner kick panels. The bed wood has been cut and routed, andis yellow pine that has not been stained or treated yet.
The seat riser, rear floor pan, driver's side rear bed stake pocket,passenger side lower rocker, passenger side inner front fender, passenger side running board splash apron and the lower, inner doors have minorrust through that needs to be repaired still. I have included pictures of most of these areas to give you an idea. The running boards and bedsides need some work. The truck comes with new angle strips for the bed wood (not pictured).
I have bolted the truck together to show that it is complete and prepare it for shipping. The truck is missing a few things: the glovebox lock, the windshield wiper system, lower grille valance, windshield center chrome and vent window seals. Other than that it is all there. The front bumper is not mounted because I didn't have time to fabricate the mounts for the Camaro front clip.
