1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu

This is a survivor 1969 Malibu that stared life as a 307 2bl auto . The previous owner bought at estate sale here in Hickory nc in 1995. Bought new at Everett Chevrolet . He has compiled a massof parts to clone it into an L89 SS but as original as the car is paint wise I decided to leave it a Malibu. Everything I have goes with the car SS hood, Bucket seats [ needing recovered], consol, original 14 inch rally, 307 and trans and 10 bolt rear . Engine is a fresh built stamped dated 69 L78 JD stamped block with dated correct 3946074 alum head, correct intake and gm 3310 Z16 holley carb. All new clutch 12 HD with M22 large output shaft tran, 69 dated 12 bolt rear with new 3.73 gear and new Yukon posi unit . Flowmaster stainless headers connected to PYPES 3 inch stainless exhaust street pro mufflers . Power 4 wheel disc brakes front are 2 piston Wilwood drilled slotted rotors, rear are 2003 S10 blazer rears with very nice working park brake .Complete driveline is all freashly done with about 200 shake down miles . not on drip under this car as great care was taken while assembling all componets . Eastwood tri flow alum radiator works fantastic 90 plus degree traffic gauge does not go past half. Car is a blast to drive and is very fast and loud.I wouldconsider a trade for 65 66 corvette coupe up or down projects welcome . Car also has a NKR reproduction functioning cowl plenum air cleaner. 17 x8 front and 17x9 rear with new Nitto 555's.
