This 1968 Chevrolet C10 truck is nice! We began building this truck a little less than three years ago and it has some great features! It is a reliable driver and has all the modern conveniences you could look for in a 48 year old truck. It was featured on an episode of Truck U a few years back. When they were finished updating it for TV, we took it to the next level and added the a/c, bagkit, an overdrive transmission and much much more. ALL work was completed by an ASE Master Tech here at our Dade City, Florida auto shop. This truck looks good and is reliable. We make the 8 hour round trip to Turkey Run in Daytona every year in it. It turns heads and it is hard to even take it to the gas station without someone wanting to stop and talk about it. All work was performed in the last three years or less.
Vintage Air a/c installed that will freeze you out if you want it to. Cold air and hot heat with defrost. This a/c system was installed right and works just as it should with no surprises. Sanden low load compressor.
Full Painless brand wiring kit. it was wired right with no mess before the interior was assembled.
700R4 auto transmission with overdrive.
Chevrolet 350 SBC with a cam. MSD ingnition system including billet distributor and 7AL electronic ignition. Quick Fuel Slayer Carb. Ceramic coated long tube headers feed dual flowmaster mufflers.
High-End air ride system installed with Viar manifold with big valves and dual compressors. check out the pictures, this thing gets high when pumped up and sits low when aired out. Unlike most bagged trucks, this truck is drivealbe even when the bagges are deflated. The four Domintaor bags have a full 10" of travel. When set in the middle of travel, this truck tracks straight and rides very well. No crappy hard ride here.
CPP tubular upper and lower control arms keep the camber right even when low.
CPP tilt steering column and Flaming River steering parts. Grant wheel.
Classic Instruments fuel Gauge cluster. Every Gauge works and is correct.
Matching two tone Houndstooth seat.
17" Summit Six wheels with good tires.
New carpet kit.
Original 4-wheel power drum brakes that stop well and were rebuilt in 2014.
The paint and body are decent and show well, but there is some bubbling beginning on the lower door corners, rockers and lower tailgate. They are hard to really notice due to the bright color, but they are there. The drip line of the roof is showing some rust as well. It is pictured in the last photo. Please see the last five pictures. A sunroof was added in the past, that does not leak.
If you do not desire the painted company door logo, it can be buffed off.
