1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

I have owned by 1957 Chevy Hardtop for about two years. The car had a frame off restoration in 2002 by the previous owner. The car is currently set up with a built 383 Stroker professionally built rated at 525 H.P. The car has a nine inch Ford rear end with Moser axels and coil overs. In the last year I have put a lot of time, effort and money into this car.

I added Vintage heat and air to the car for highway cruising on long road trips. We changed out the four speed Muncie for a five speed Tremec TKO 600 transmission. The car runs a 3:55 rear and now with the new five speed it pulls about 2,000 rpm at 70 mph going down the high way. The car had a bare metal repaint in February of this year which cost me $8972. When we changed out the transmission we also put in new clutch, bellhousing and modified the drive shaft for a smooth integration of the entire drive line. Also added a new starter that was a better fit with the 383 Stroker motor and added a new Interstate battery for easier starting. Also added a Ron Francis wiring kit and larger fuse box to handle all the added electrical needs. The car has had a recent oil change (7.5 quarts on a change) and we installed a new Edelbrock 650 Thunder carb with electric choke.

I do not build show cars but cars that are dependable and road ready for long trips from Baltimore to Houston, Texas. This car has completed one of those trips in October without a single problem. The round trip is 2,600 miles.

I keep complete records on everything I do on my cars. Let me know if you have any interest in my Chevy.
