Here is your chance to get a sweet old 55 Chevy Truck. I bought this from my friend and he owned it since the early 90s. It was a dependable daily driver with a nova front sub frame with power steering and power disc brakes, He was going to pro street the truck and put ladder bars and a narrowed Ford nine inch with 411 gears. Huge MT sportsman tires and Weld wheels are on the rear and Welds up front as well. The bed is a new Camio fiberglass bed with all new steel holding it together. It has a 400 small block engine that has not been ran since 1994 so needless to say it prolly needs to be freshened. It came out of a barn and looks just like it did when I found it. Its a slick truck and will clean up nice. The rearend has disc brakes. The interior has buckets with a console and a glove box that was painted by Steve Cook, years ago. The third member is out of the rearend and I am waiting for a mini spool to arrive so I can install the third member. The truck will need some coilovers or air bags to support the rearend. The ladder bar mounts on the rearend will need to be welded up. The bed was set up to fit on the truck with the narrowed Rearend and huge tires. I have not tried to set the bed on yet but it looks like it will fit. I had the bed on when I first bought the truck but it did not have the narrowed rearend and huge tires under it yet but its all supposed to fit. I have had several questions and request about rust. There are some chips in the paint and there is surface rust where the paint is missing. No rust holes. The cab corners are dirty like the rest of the truck but solid. There is plenty of surface rust underneath but no holes. I also found out that the battery mounts underneath the truck on the passengers side under the floor! I also included a picture of where the truck frame was mated with the Nova frame. It looks super strong to me and Alvin ( my friend the previous owner) said he did the sub frame work in the late 80s and its been rock solid. He also said the truck was so light in the rear that if you wanted to just step on the gas and you could do donuts till you got sick of doing them!!! I have the other Ford Nine inch rearend that came with the truck and the skinny rear weld wheels in case you dont like the pro street look and want to put it back to its wide stance. I do have a picture of the truck when it had the bed sitting on the frame and the other wide rearend underneath it but cannot load any more pics on the ad. The truck comes with an extra Ford nine inch housing that was under the truck already and it comes with 2 extra Weld Wheels that are 8 inches wide and fit under the bed when you have the wide rear end housing installed. It also comes with the fiberglass rear bumper and the fiberglass rear tail gate cover. I also have the original steel fenders that bolt on to the new steel beds sides that are under the fiberglass fenders so if you wanted to make the truck a step side just take the fiberglass fenders off and bolt the steel fenders on and presto chango you have a way different looking truck!Thanks for looking and If you would like to see a picture of the extra parts just text me and I can send them to you.
