Cincy Classic Cars is very proud to offer this stunning 1980 Factory 4 Speed Corvette which is in beautiful overall condition and priced to sell. This Corvette is truly rare being 1 of only 3,070 factory Frost Beige vette’s built in 1980 and how many of them were ordered with a factory 4 speed manual transmission. This Corvette features a nice older repaint with added lower brown two tone section with added pin stripping, an original Doeskin leather interior which is in excellent condition, a super desirable 4 speed manual transmission, and the original numbers matching 350 engine, see block vin stamp pictured below. This Corvette is very solid with great lines and gaps and shows no signs of visible rust anywhere around the car. This Corvette is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Frost Beige(code 59) over Doeskin leather (code 592) interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified by the trim tag pictured below.

Exterior

The Frost Beige/Brown exterior is in nice driver condition. This Corvette was treated to a professional paint job in the factory Frost Beige color with added brown two tone paint scheme and still shows well. The paint is in good condition and the frame is solid. Both bumpers are in good shape shape with no flaking or fading paint. At the time of the repaint the previous owner added the rear hatch glass that can be open and raised, this is a very cool and convenient feature that adds value to the car. Currently the shocks are a little to weak to keep the glass open. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires were just replaced and have less than 500 miles on them and are sized 255/60/15 and the wheels are brand new OEM replacements that are full chrome and in perfect new shape with no curb rash and shine beautifully. Previous owner spent nearly $2000 on these wheels and tires. The t tops come on and off nicely and fit snug and do not rattle while driving. All glass is “LOF” original glass. The headlights work and go up and down but the passenger side sometimes needs manually lowered.

Interior

The Doeskin leather interior of this Corvette is in spectacular condition. The seat covers are in wonderful condition with no signs of excessive wear. The carpet is in great condition with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in great condition with no cracks or fading and the dash bezel is in great condition as well. The am/fm cassette stereo works well and thankfully the dash has not been cut for a modern stereo. The door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should. The horn, stereo, wipers, power windows, and fan blower also work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This Corvette is in great mechanical condition and we have driven it numerous times and it always performs very well and is a true joy to drive. Most importantly the original numbers matching 350 engine is still in the car, see vin stamp below and notice suffix code “ZAM” which is correct for a 350 manual transmission car. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well. The previous owner of this Corvette kept meticulous care of the car and regular maintenance was performed and several items were fixed and upgraded. This Corvette is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. The clutch feels good and it shifts easily in and out of gear. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. This is a factory AC car and the compressor, radiator, several AC lines, and condenser have recently been replaced.

The AC system has been converted to R134 and recently charged and blows nice and cold.

The Vehicle is being sold by a Licensed State of Ohio Dealer (Cincy Classic Cars, LLC). You will need to check with your local government for any special rules regarding these older vehicles passing any inspections. We will not be held liable for any vehicle not passing inspection.The vehicle is offered with a right to a personal inspection by any bidder or agent. If you are the buyer and unable to inspect said vehicle immediately, you or an agent will have seven (7) days to inspect said vehicle after the close of auction. We welcome a physical inspection to avoid any misunderstandings or representations. All disputes arising out of or resulting from this sale shall be finally determined by binding arbitration in Cincinnati/Milford, Ohio in accordance with the commercial rules of arbitration of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be carried out by one or more arbitrators in accordance with said rules. Any award shall be enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction in the same manner as judgments. This agreement to arbitrate shall survive the sale of the automobile described herein. Buyer and Seller hereby agree that Ohio law shall control for all purposes under this Bill of Sale. Buyer and Seller hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Ohio to specifically enforce the agreement to arbitrate and to enter judgment of and enforce the award of the arbitrator. All above terms and conditions are applied to vehicle sales, whether through EBay or otherwise.

Payment Terms:

Payment must be made by Cashiers Check, Money Orders or Wire Transfers payable in US Dollars. A deposit in the amount of $950.00 must be received within Twenty-Four (24) hours of the auction close typically by PayPal ( PayPal for deposit only NOT for full payment). Purchaser cannot make any claims of ownership to said vehicle without payment in full. The buyer has seven (7) days from close of auction to inspect the vehicle. If an inspection or decision takes longer than seven days and you find the vehicle not to your liking, your deposit will be forfeited and the car will be relisted. Final payment must be received within seven (7) days of the auctions close. Documentation Fee: There will be a $150.00 domestic and $250.00 international fee added to each car sold. This includes title transfer, inventory tax, holding costs, vehicle preparation, storage and priority documentation delivery.

We will not be responsible for buyers remorse or problems found to said vehicle once they have left our property. We are just being realistic; most of the cars we deal in are vintage and by their very nature will need TLC and some degree of attention sooner or later. These are not new cars and your expectation should not be of a perfect, new car. Once full payment has been received, Seller will mail a copy of clear title, Bill of Sale, Buyers Guide and additional BMV forms to the Buyer to sign and return via mail. The fully-executed forms must be returned to the Seller prior to the shipment of said vehicle.

Please note that we are not a transport company and only offer this service as a convenience to our customers. You are more than welcome to arrange your own shipping. Transportation will commence only after final payment and signed documentation are received.
