Wow! Gorgeous 1959 Chevrolet Biscayne with the iconic "Gull Wings and Cat's Eyes". By the late 50's every aspect of life had taken on Jet Age Panache. Most cars of the late 50's, of course, had fins,. None, however, had anything approaching the horizontal, deeply sculpted wings of the '59 Chevy. The brochure called it "the most curvaceous sheet metal to ever grace a Chevrolet."
This Biscayne wears four T3 headlamps. The body panels align perfectly. All of the chrome and stainless trim displaying brilliantly. The tail lamp lenses are excellent.
Names like Impala, BelAir are instantly recognizable. You might not realize you want a Biscayne. This time warp survivor was represented as 30,000 actual miles by the 2nd owner who acquired it out of the estate of the original owner in Amarillo, Texas. The title reads "mileage exempt" due to age, use your own judgement. Judging by the condition of this car, we believe it. Finished in 2-tone Satin Beige over Cameo Coral. Buick called this color "Tawny Rose" so that is what my wife named the car. (Kinda fits I think)
The roof paint is original, however the Cameo Coral of this garage queen was professionally refinished in 2009. Brilliant shine no overspray, runs, dings, waves, etc. All of the original glass is date stamped LOF Safety Glass and still glistens like new.
Open the doors to 1959.

The dash underside is just outstanding, indicative of a dry climate, garage-kept vehicle.

The original seats were covered for most of its life, still excellent. The door panels and headliner are also in outstanding ORIGINAL condition - it even smells authentic inside. All of the gauges and warning lamps function properly. Windows roll up and down smoothly. Doors THUD shut straight and with authority. The window felts and gaskets are soft and supple. There are no chips or scratches in the original windshield. Beautiful, contoured, hooded instrument panel design with deep set gauges. The knobs and controls slide and click easily. Seat belts have been added in the interest of safety, as well as power disc brakes and power steering. All professionally added, see pictures.
Brand New Coker Whitewall Radial Tires are fitted around the outstanding original wheels and wheel covers.
The door undersides wear the original Coral finish and are in excellent condition.

I'm not much of an emailer, but please feel free to contact me, Bobby, with any questions. If you find yourself in Dallas, Texas, feel free to set up an appointment to see the car. 214-770-0437 - Bobby. I do not have a "buy it now" price and would prefer to let the auction play out. Texas residents to pay tax, title and license fees.

As shown underneath, rarely driven in inclement weather. The flooring, frame, and suspension shows exceptionally well, indicative of the low mileage. This Biscayne is the real deal.
If you have ever been fortunate enough to experience the ownership of a truly unrestored, low mileage, original vehicle such as this, then I think you will agree that no matter how much money is thrown into a restoration, nothing can duplicate the feel of an original.
283 V8 - Automatic Powerglide Transmission - Always starts right up, choke engages properly, shifts, stops smoothly. No shakes, shimmies, pulling, etc. See video test drive

The correct generator charging system is intact. The original air cleaner is in place as well.

Original Trim identification plate intact and legible - Correct Colors of Cameo Coral & Beige

Original VIN plate intact

All of the original glass shows very well throughout this car.

The trunk is clean and detailed, fitted with the correct mat along with a spare tire/wheel and jacking equipment.
