First let me say, that I'm listing this and helping my friend Tom, sell his 1953 Chevy truck that he has owned for the last 20yrs ... and he will be making all the decisions regarding the sale of this listing.
Believe it or not, but this little Cream Puff (that has always been garaged, since Tom has owned it) had a frame off restoration in 1997 !!!. The 235 cu in 6cyl engine is out of a 1959 Chevy truck that was completely rebuilt 5yrs ago (since the rebuild, Tom has driven a total of approx. 900 miles (he lives about 1 1/2 miles from a local cruzze night place), the 3 speed transmission is original to the truck that shifts as it should, with no problems or noises, it has been converted to 12volt system, all glass was replaced, all front end suspension was redone (ie: king pins/bushings/shocks/tie rodsETC...), complete rear end overhaul, complete brakes redone, has new radiator, Petronix electornic ignition conversion kit, all gauges restored and work as should, new oak bed and chrome rails, has battery kill switch and am/fm original style radio. This Cream Puff is totally rust free !! all the hood and door gaps are very good and finally This Ole Girl runs and drives better than she looks. !!
