1957 Chevrolet Nomad BEL AIR

HERE IS AN IMMACULATE 1957 CHEVROLET BEL AIR NOMAD OWNED BY A COLLECTOR OF CARS. THIS NOMAD HAS BEEN PROFESSIONALLY RESTORED.IT IS IN # 1 CONCOURS CONDITION. THIS NOMAD HAS WON AACA JUNIOR 1ST - 80TH AACA ANNIVERSARY AT LOUISVILLE KENTUCKY & AACA SENIOR - REGIONAL LEVEL AT HERSHEY PA. HERE ARE THE DETAILS OF THIS NOMAD FROM THE ACTUAL RESTORER.

Frame off rotisserie restoration. The body was a fully detailed

restoration inside and out.

The frame was rotisserie restored and detailed also.

The chassis suspension was rebuilt including factory power steering and

power brakes.

All new bushings and springs and rare rebuilt original

spiral shock absorbers.

The engine is a number matching rebuilt 240 HP 283 CI engine. The two

four barrel carburetors were professionally restored. The engine details

include a correct Bat Wing air cleaner, correct fan belt, hoses and

clamps.

Correct dual exhaust.

The original radiator was re-cored.

The Powerglide transmission was professionally rebuilt. The complete

third member was rebuilt.

The interior is the correct black & silver, the dash gauges were

restored, all new correct wiring thru out the car.

The body was painted base coat & clear black with a white top. The

underside of the car is painted correct red oxide.

The upper tailgate was professionally straightened. All the glass is new

correct date coded.

The car has a correct windshield visor, and restored left and right spot

lights/rear view mirrors. The interior has very rare 1957 Chevrolet

dealer installed seat belts. All the chrome is new show chrome quality.

All the stainless steel trim was professionally polished.

The car has the correct jack, wheels and wide white bias ply tires with

full wheel covers and spinners.

The 56 miles since restoration are test miles and show field miles.
